Our Story

One of GoSpot’s founders, a former seafarer, spent years working onboard vessels where safety was always critical—but not always properly supported. During her time at sea, she often witnessed marine workers performing demanding and dangerous tasks without the right protective clothing or properly fitted uniforms. Some wore worn-out gear, while others improvised with whatever was available. It wasn’t due to carelessness, but lack of access—yet the risks were real and constant.

She saw firsthand how even small gaps in protection could lead to life-threatening situations in an already unforgiving environment. Long after leaving the sea, those experiences stayed with her and shaped a deeper sense of purpose.

At the same time, her business partner shared the same passion for supporting workers through quality, reliability, and genuine care. Coming from a background grounded in service, dedication, and operational support, she understood the importance of providing dependable solutions to people working in high-risk industries. Together, they believed that safety should never be treated as an afterthought, but as a responsibility.

What began as a shared concern soon became a shared mission. Combining firsthand maritime experience with a commitment to service and protection, the two women worked hand in hand to build a brand that would truly support marine workers.

From that vision, GoSpot was born—a project rooted in care, responsibility, and partnership. Their collaboration is also reflected in the company’s logo, symbolizing two people working together with trust, unity, and a common purpose: to protect seafarers, honor their work, and ensure that those who face the risks of the sea are properly equipped to do their jobs safely and confidently.
